Audit Engagement Quality Reviewer

Position Details:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Audit Engagement Quality Reviewer to join our team at a medium-sized audit firm. As an Audit Engagement Quality Reviewer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our audit engagements meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with audit standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of audit engagements to ensure compliance with audit standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Identify any areas of concern or non-compliance and work with the audit team to resolve these issues.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to the audit team on ways to improve the quality of the audit work.
- Review and evaluate the adequacy of documentation supporting audit findings and conclusions.
- Communicate effectively with the audit team and management regarding any issues or findings.
- Stay up-to-date with changes to audit standards and regulations, and ensure that audit engagements are in compliance with these changes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes related to audit quality control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA(SA) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit or related field.
- Thorough understanding of auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
