Position Details:
Are you a friendly, professional, and energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic environment? Do you excel at creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service? If so, we’d love to have you join our team at RVN Chartered Accountants as our new Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, addressing inquiries or forwarding to appropriate departments.
- Greet clients and visitors, escort them to meeting rooms, and offer refreshments.
- Manage incoming packages and deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and distribution.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings, ensuring they are properly set up and signed out to employees or clients.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, documents, and packages.
- Maintain filing systems, including emails and administrative records.
- Provide additional administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Keep an up-to-date contact list of staff and key contacts.
- Ensure the office is opened and closed in accordance with office hours and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- High energy with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans and English preferred)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Professional appearance reflecting the standards of RVN Chartered Accountants.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with standard office equipment.
Salary:
The salary for this position will be discussed in the interview and will be based on factors such as the candidate’s level of experience, education, and certifications.
